New Music...

So, I have discovered some new stuff that I'm into.  Mostly from the NIN genera or sounding like them.

LCD Soundsystem:  Can't get enough of it, really.  It shouldn't be my type of music but some how it is.  The album "Sound of Silver" is not only smart, it's pretty damn rocking o.o

Black Kids:  God bless 93.1XRT, I found this poppy-dance type shit and fell in love it, whole debut record is good.

Shiny Toy Guns:  Much like "Black Kids," but a little more edgy, still the same dancy type sound for the most part.  They have the male/female singer combo which is dynamic IMO, but, the NEW album leaves a little to be desired.  "We are Pilots" is still my fav.

Junior/Senior:  Holy shit!  I've been listening to "Move Your Feet" since 2006 and never figured these guys had anything else.  Turns out, practically all their stuff is fucking dynamite, more poppy dance type stuff that's easy to listen to, plus "Senior" is gay, so that means you have gay songs!  Wow @.@

Primal Scream:  I first got into them a long time ago, new a handful of songs, but kinda newly rediscovred them in a different light.  More on the NIN genera, still edgy with an incredibly political sense, just what we need right now, right?  More reminiscent of "Rage Against the Machine" but not as 'in your face' about it, a little more mellow (sometimes) too.

Fleet Foxes:  This has potential of doing what "The Shins" did brianziggy, to what...I dunno where I was going with that...but baroque pop is where it's at it.  Their debut album is good stuff, one of those you can listening to the whole thing without fumbling for the FF button.

The Vines:  More indie typish stuff that's good, some of it ill-produced.

Wolf Parade:  I got into them back in 2002, but when they only had a select number of songs.  Also ill-produced.  The new album however is turning out to be incredibly smart and sounds fantastic.
